1. The "Far Eastern Y. Z. HSU Foundation" was established in December 2001 by the Far Eastern Group in memory of its founder Mr. Y. Z. HSU, with the approval of the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan. Its business purpose is to reward technological innovation.
2. To encourage scientific and technological talents from all walks of life, the Far Eastern Y. Z. HSU Foundation is holding "the 24th Y. Z. HSU Science and Technology Award" selection. The awards include "the 24th Y. Z. HSU Science and Technology Lecture", "the 24th Y. Z. HSU Science and Technology Theses Award" and "the 12th Y. Z. HSU Science and Technology Invention Award".
