1. The following information pertains to the eligibility criteria, required application materials, and award details for the 2026 the Pharmacogenomics Society of Taiwan's "Chen, Yuan-Tsong Young Academician Scholar Award."
(1) Application qualifications
Hold a doctoral degree from a public university or a private university or independent college registered with the Ministry of Education, and meet the following conditions:
A. Applicants must be under 48 years of age and have held a full-time assistant researcher, assistant professor, or equivalent position for less than eight years (calculated from August 1st of the year of application). However, if the applicant has given birth or taken maternity leave during this period, the leave period may be extended by two years for each birth.
B. Those who hold full-time positions in domestic academic research institutions or public or private universities (excluding postdoctoral researchers).
(2) Award quota and method
A. The winner will receive a prize of NT$80,000 and a certificate.
B. The awards ceremony will be held publicly, and the winners' resumes and publications will also be published on the website of the Pharmacogenomics Society of Taiwan.
2. The application period for the award is from May 1, 2026 (Friday) to August 31, 2026 (Monday). Please refer to the information released by the Pharmacogenomics Society of Taiwan for application procedures.
